HeroFrame Privacy Policy

HeroFrame ("we", "us") turns a photo you choose into an AI-generated sports poster. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We designed HeroFrame to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address to create and secure your account. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email", we only receive the relay address Apple provides.
• Photos you upload. The photo you select is sent securely to our image-generation service to create your poster. Photos are processed to generate the result and are not stored on our servers afterward, nor used to train any model.
• Generated posters. Finished posters are saved on your device. So that a poster isn't lost if the app closes while it's being made, a copy is kept on our servers for up to 24 hours and then deleted. A small amount of information about each poster you save (the sport, the text style, and the date) is stored in your account.
• Profile photo. If you choose a profile photo in the app, it stays on your device and is never uploaded. If you sign in with Google, the app shows your Google profile photo.
• Purchase information. HeroFrame Pro subscriptions and one-time poster packs are sold by Apple and managed with our payments provider (RevenueCat). We receive whether your subscription is active and which packs you've bought — not your payment card or billing details.
• Usage limits. We count the posters you generate, and any pack posters you have left, so we can apply free, Pro and pack limits.
• App usage events. The app records simple events tied to your account — for example that a poster was started or finished, or that the upgrade screen was opened — along with the App Store country of your Apple ID. We use them only to understand and improve HeroFrame, and delete them after 90 days. They are not shared or sold.
• Notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a device token so we can tell you when your poster is ready.

What we do not do

• We do not show ads.
• We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a few trusted providers to run the app:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and secure cloud functions.
• OpenAI — generates the poster image from your photo. Data sent to OpenAI's API is not used to train its models.
• RevenueCat & Apple — manage subscriptions and purchases.
• Expo & Apple — deliver "your poster is ready" notifications.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account in the app. This permanently removes your account, the information stored with it (poster counts, saved-poster information, any posters waiting to be recovered, usage events and your notification token) and your purchase history at RevenueCat, and clears your recent posters and profile photo from the device. We keep only an anonymous record that a past pack purchase was already credited, so the same purchase can't be credited twice. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription: cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Photos are not retained after a poster is generated.

Children

HeroFrame is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
