HeroFrame Privacy Policy

HeroFrame ("we", "us") turns a photo you choose into an AI-generated sports poster. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We designed HeroFrame to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address to create and secure your account. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email", we only receive the relay address Apple provides.
• Photos you upload. The photo you select is sent securely to our image-generation service to create your poster. Photos are processed to generate the result and are not stored on our servers afterward, nor used to train any model.
• Generated posters. Finished posters are saved on your device. A small amount of metadata about each poster (the sport, the text style, and the date) is stored in your account so your recent posters sync to you.
• Purchase information. If you subscribe to HeroFrame Pro, your subscription status is managed by Apple and our payments provider (RevenueCat). We receive whether your subscription is active — not your payment card or billing details.
• Usage limits. We keep a monthly count of posters you generate so we can enforce free and Pro limits.

What we do not do

• We do not show ads.
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a few trusted providers to run the app:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and secure cloud functions.
• OpenAI — generates the poster image from your photo. Data sent to OpenAI's API is not used to train its models.
• RevenueCat & Apple — manage subscriptions and purchases.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account in the app. This permanently removes your account and the poster metadata associated with it, and clears recent posters stored on your device. Photos are not retained after a poster is generated.

Children

HeroFrame is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
